Mariann Verheyen has designed for the Huntington since its premiere season. Her most recent credits include Fences and Present Laughter (IRNE Award). Ms. Verheyen's New York credits include the Broadway production of Peter Pan and work with The Public Theater/NYSF, The York Theatre Company, Second Stage Theatre, and Hudson Guild Theatre. She has designed at Ford's Theatre, Alliance Theatre, Studio Arena Theater, Missouri Repertory Theatre, Pittsburgh Public Theater, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and several Shakespeare Festivals. Her awards include two IRNE Awards, a Suzi Award, two Best of Atlanta Awards, a New York City Villager Downtowner Theatre Award, and a Jeff Award. She has a Distinguished Achievement Award from both her high school and undergraduate school, St. Norbert College. Ms. Verheyen is head of the costume design program at the Boston University College of Fine Arts, School of Theatre.
