Mariann Verheyen has designed for the Huntington since its premiere season, including Choice, Fences, Present Laughter, and The Mikado. Her New York credits include designing the Broadway production of Peter Pan, work at The Public Theater/NYSF, The York Theater Company, Second Stage Theatre, and Hudson Guild, as well as numerous industrials and television commercials. Regionally she has designed at The Ford’s Theatre, Alliance Theatre, Missouri Repertory Theater, Pittsburgh Public Theater, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Chicago Shakespeare Theater and several Shakespeare Festivals. She has designed for Disney and Viking Cruise Lines, Sea World, and Disney World. Her awards include two IRNEs, a Suzi Bass Award, the New York City Villager Downtowner Theater Award, and a Jeff Award. She has a Distinguished Achievement Award from her high school and undergraduate school, St. Norbert College. Ms. Verheyen is head of the costume design program at the Boston University College of Fine Arts School of Theatre.
