Marcus Doshi

Marcus Doshi designs for theatre, opera, and dance and collaborates with artists and architects on a wide array of non-theatrical ventures. His work has been seen internationally in Edinburgh, London, Amsterdam, Castres, Venice, Vienna, Kuwait, Mumbai, New Delhi, Phnom Penh and Jakarta, and most recently in Beirut, Lebanon, Tunis, and Sousse. His work has also been seen in Tunisia with Saabab Theatre's international tour of The Speaker's Progress, a play written in the shadow of the Arab Spring. The Speaker's Progress played at ArtsEmerson in October 2011. His work has been seen in the US with Seattle Opera, Florentine Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, Baltimore Opera, Theatre for a New Audience, Lincoln Center Festival, New York Theatre Workshop, The Civilians Intiman Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Portland Stage, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, and Yale Repertory Theatre, among other. Mr. Doshi is a company member of Moving Theater and a principal designer of both the Greenwich Music Festival and Khmer Arts Ensemble.
