Kevin Kuhlke has acted with Anne Bogart, Robert Wilson, Rina Yerushalmi, Mabou Mines, The Builders Association, Stage One Theater Lab, The Iowa Theater Lab, and The Holderness Company. Venues: Lincoln Center,The Public Theater, PS 122, Danspace, The Franklin Furnace and La Mama. Directing work includes over thirty productions in various venues including The Atlantic Theater Company, Seattle Rep, Huntington Theatre Company, Theater ForA New Audience, The City Theater (Iceland). ART Institute, Moscow Arts Theater Institute, and international theater festivals in Warsaw and London. His production of O, Pioneers! with Mary McDonnellwas televised nationally by American Playhouse P.B.S. His play Winesburg, Small Town Life was performed at The Perseverance Theater. He has taught master acting and directing classes in Cuba, Iceland, England, Switzerland, Holland, Austria, Denmark, Germany and in several American Universities and training programs including CalArts, Naropa, A.R.T., and NYU Graduate Acting. He was Chair of Tisch Drama from 2001-2008 and was the director of the Experimental Theater Wing from 1991-2001 where he co-produced over 100 productions. He is the founder and director of the Tisch International Theater Summer Training program in Amsterdam and the International Theater Workshop in Iceland.
