James Waterston's New York credits include Parents’ Evening (The Flea Theater), Buffalo Gal (Primary Stages), Jack in The Importance of Being Earnest (Brooklyn Academy of Music, directed by Sir Peter Hall), Orlando in As You Like It (The Public Theater/NYSF), and Another Time (Alaska Junior Theater). His favorite regional and international credits include Daniel in Chinglish (Goodman Theatre), Iago in Othello (Commonwealth Shakespeare Company), Edmund in Long Day’s Journey into Night (Syracuse Stage), Sir Andrew in Twelfth Night (The Old Globe), and Mark Antony, Brutus, and Cassius in Julius Caesar (American Repertory Theater, Paris’ Theatre Gerard Philipe, and touring throughout France and Bogota, Colombia). Mr. Waterston has spent four seasons at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, three seasons at The Old Globe, and three seasons at the Sundance Institute. His film and television credits include Certainty, Visiting, Dead Poets Society, Little Sweetheart, “Treme,” “The Good Wife,” a recurring role on “Six Feet Under,” “Live from Baghdad,” “Wedding Daze,” “Christy: The Movie,” and the upcoming “666 Park Avenue.”
