Gretchen Egolf has appeared on Broadway in Jackie and Ring Round the Moon (Lincoln Center Theater). Her Off Broadway credits include plays at Vineyard Theatre, Second Stage Theatre, The Flea Theater, Women’s Project, and New World Stages, among others. Regionally, she appeared as Rosalind in As You Like It (Pittsburgh Public Theater), Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire (Guthrie Theater), Amanda in Private Lives (Barrington Stage Company), as well as many other plays in the Berkshires, and Gilda in Design for Living (Shakespeare Theatre Company), among others. Her film credits include The Talented Mr. Ripley, The Namesake, and Quiz Show. In television, she has been a series regular on “Journeyman” and “Martial Law,” has starred in the television movies The Two Mr. Kissels, Eden, and Gleason, has had recurring roles on “Law & Order: SVU” and “Roswell,” and has guest starred on “The Good Wife,” “Blue Bloods,” “CSI Miami,” “Lie to Me,” “Criminal Minds,” “Ghost Whisperer,” “NCIS,” “Medium,” “Without a Trace,” and “Law & Order,” among others. Ms. Egolf attended The Juilliard School. She also studies and teaches the Michael Chekhov acting technique.
