Ed Peed

Ed Peed previously appeared at the Huntington in A Confederacy of Dunces and worked with the Education Department on A Point of Departure. He has appeared in the world premiere of The Lepers of Baile Baiste by Huntington Playwriting Fellow Ronan Noone (The Súgán Theatre Company) and in the US premiere of Brendan Behan’s The Bishop’s Bonfire (Lyric Stage Company). Regional credits include The Hostage, The Boys Next Door, The Front Page, and Later Life with Valerie Perrine (Merrimack Repertory Theatre) as well as work with Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, New Repertory Theatre, Stoneham Theatre, Zeitgeist Stage Company, Moonbox Productions (including Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest and Candy in Of Mice and Men, both of which received IRNE Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor), Gloucester Stage Company, Wellesley Summer Theatre, Vineyard Playhouse, The Public Theatre in Maine, and Shear Madness, among others. Film credits include Mona Lisa Smile, Shadow Glories (Woods Hole Film Festival Best Dramatic Feature), and The Perfect Gooseys. Mr.Peed has performed in numerous programs on NPR and the BBC Open University, and has interpreted the work of various poets on the mystanza.com app and on YouTube at mystanzachannel. He holds an MFA in acting and directing from the University of Georgia.
