Ed Dixon appeared at the Huntington in Iolanthe and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. His many Broadway appearances include Sunday in the Park with George, Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Gore Vidal’s The Best Man, The Iceman Cometh, Les Miserables, Cyrano, The Three Musketeers, and The Scarlet Pimpernel. He received a Drama Desk Award nomination for his performance in Shylock which he adapted from The Merchant of Venice. His Off Broadway credits include The Persians, Here Lies Jenny, and Under the Bridge. He has appeared in the national tours of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas with Ann-Margret, Pippin with Ben Vereen, and Sunset Boulevard (Joseph Jefferson Award nomination). Mr. Dixon is the author/composer of Cather County, Richard Cory, and Fanny Hill. His work has been recognized with a Leon Rabin Award, a Steinberg Grant, two Drama Desk Award nominations, one Drama-Logue nomination, and two Dean’s List Awards.
