Diego Arciniegas

Diego Arciniegas appeared at the Huntington as Father di Leo in The Rose Tattoo and Hunk in Dead End, both directed by Nicholas Martin, as well as in the reading of Sonia Flew as part of the 2004 Breaking Ground Festival. Most recently he played Frank Hardy in Brian Friel’s Faith Healer, directed by Nora Hussey with The Publick Theatre in Boston, and El Duende in Astor Piazzola’s Tango Operita Maria de Buenos Aires with Gotham Chamber Opera in New York City (Maes. Neal Goren, conductor; David Parsons, choreographer). Mr. Arciniegas is the artistic director of The Publick Theatre. A native of Colombia, South America, he trained in theatre at Williams College and The British and European Studies Group (BESGL), James Wilson (Oxon.), director. He is currently a lecturer in theatre studies at Wellesley College.
