Clint Ramos previously designed A Raisin in the Sun, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and Ruined at the Huntington. Recent set and/or costume credits include the Broadway productions of The Elephant Man with Bradley Cooper (also West End) and Violet. His other New York credits include Here Lies Love (The Public Theater/NYSF, also London); Kid Victory and Appropriate (Signature Theatre); and Bootycandy (Playwrights Horizons). He has been the principal costume designer for the last two seasons of New York City Center’s Encores! Off-Center, having designed Cradle Will Rock; Violet; I’m Getting My Act Together; Taking It On the Road; tick, tick…Randy Newman’s Faust; and Pump Boys and Dinettes. He has more than 100 regional and international design credits. His honors include the 2013 Obie Award for Sustained Excellence, three Lucille Lortel Awards, two IRNE Awards, the TDF Irene Sharaff Young Master Award, two American Theatre Wing Henry Hewes Design Awards, and a Helen Hayes Award. His upcoming work includes after all the terrible things I do at the Huntington this spring, Buzzer (The Public Theater/NYSF), The Power of Duff (Geffen Playhouse), and Melancholy Play (Trinity Repertory Company).
