Campbell Scott

Campbell Scott previously starred in the title role in Hamelt and the 2006 Breaking Ground Festival reading of The Atheist for the Huntington.  He has appeared on Broadway in Long Day's Journey into Night with Jason Robards and Colleen Dewhurst; Ah! Wilderness; Hay Fever, and The Queen and the Rebels. Off-Broadway, Mr. Scott has appeared in The last outpost, Copperhead, A man for all Seasons, and On the Bum. He played the title role in Hamelet at The Old Globe in San Diego, and his other Shakespearean roles include Angelo in Measure for Measure(Lincoln Center Theatre), the title role in Pericles (The Public Theatre/NYSF), and Iago in Othello (Philadelphia Drama Guild). Regionally, he has been seen in Our Town, Gilette, and School for Wives;  and for the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Miss Julie and Dead End.  His early film roles included From Hollywood to Deadwood, Longtime Companion, The Feud, and Bernardo Bertolucci's The Sheltering Sky.  He appeared in Dead Again directed by Kenneth Branagh, starred opposite Julia Roberts in Dying Young directed by Joel Schumacher, Singles directed by Cameron Crowe, The Innocent, Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle, Only with You, Let It Be Me, and co-starred with Steve Martin in David Marnet's The Spanish Prisoner.  His most recent film appearances include Big Night, The Daytrippers, Ship of Fools, Hi-Life, Top of the Food Chain, Spring Forward, Other Voices, Lush, Delivering Milo, Roger Dodger (National Board of Review Award, Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Actor), The Secret Lives of Dentists opposite Hope Davis, Loverboy, Marie and Bruce, Duma, Saint Ralph, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Dying Gaul, Crashing, Music and Lyrics, and narration for the documentary No End in Sight. For television he starred in, co-directed, and produced Hamlet for the Odyssey Network.  He also starred in ABC's "Six Degrees" as Joseph Kennedy, Jr. in The Kennedys of Massachusetts, co-starred with Ben Kingsley and Joanna Lumley in Sweeney Todd for Showtime, co-starred with Jennifer Jason Leigh in both The Love Letter and Follow the Stars Home for Hallmark Hall of Fame, and Shot in the Heart for HBO. Mr. Scott co-directed the film Big Night with Stanley Tucci, and directed Off the Map starring Joan Allen and Sam Elliott, and Final starring Hope Davis and Denis Leary.  For the stage, he has directed Miss Julie, Snake Pitt, and Recruiting Officer.  Most recently, Mr. Scott has completed directing and pro ducting the film Company Retreat.
