Alma Cuervo’s Broadway credits include Beauty and the Beast, Cabaret, Titanic, The Heidi Chronicles, Ghetto, Quilters, Is There Life After High School?, Censored Scenes from King Kong, and Bedroom Farce. She has appeared in the national tours of Wicked, Cabaret, and M. Butterfly. Her Off Broadway credits include Sondheim and Weidman’s Road Show (The Public Theater/NYSF); Polly Pen’s Christina Alberta’s Father (Vineyard Theatre); Isn’t it Romantic? (Lucille Lortel Theatre and Phoenix Theater); The English Teachers and Three in the Back, Two in the Head (MCC Theater); and Uncle Vanya (Classic Stage Company). She received an OBIE Award for her work in Uncommon Women and Others. Ms. Cuervo’s regional credits include The Year of Magical Thinking (dir. Catherine Doherty, Northern Stage), Beyond Therapy (The Old Globe), Damn Yankees and Camila (Walnut Street Theatre), The Beauty Queen of Leenane (Barrymore Award, Philadelphia Theatre Company), The Floating Island Plays (Mark Taper Forum), and The Night Governess (McCarter Theatre). Her television credits include “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “All My Children,” and she is a series regular on Norman Lear’s “a.k.a. Pablo.” She received her B.A. from Tulane University and M.F.A. from Yale University.
