Sabrina Dennison

Sabrina Dennison returns to SpeakEasy having served as ASL Coach for last season’s production of Clybourne Park. Sabrina was awarded Miss Hampton Beach as second runner-up 1986, first runner-up 1987, and crowned 1988. Played a major acting role in Siskel and Ebert’s 1990 top six Hollywood movie, “Santa Sangre,” directed by Alejandro Jodorowsky. Sabrina’s professional acting experience continued with U.S. tour including Ireland with the National Theater of the Deaf, when she took on the role of Greta, in “Ophelia.” Sabrina continued her tour with the Little Theater of the Deaf, where she performed a variety of stage productions for elementary school children, including The Brown Bag Princess and Jack Built a House, to name a few. Sabrina completed ASL translation for Yale University’s Twelfth Night. She took on the role of an ASL consultant in a Broadway musical Avenue Q (Broadway Across America), Trumpery, What the Butler Saw, The Lady Hamlet (Boston University School of Theatre), All’s Well That Ends Well(Commonwealth Shakespeare Company), The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds, directed by Jim Petosa(Boston University School of Theatre), and Arabian Night, directed by Daniel Gidron (Central Square Theatre, Cambridge, MA). Played major role in Aditi Brennan Kapil’s production,Love Person, directed by Bevin O’Gara (Boston Center of the Arts). A proud Cape Cod native, where her late father was the only Bay Stater to be convicted of piracy (Robin Hood style) in 20th Century. I dedicate this performance to my Mommie for making me who I am today. I love you and I miss you.
